Extraordinary Eighteen

Sunday morning was filled with breeze and sense of excitement for evening's BBQ/party. I waited patiently for every second counts 'till the clock strikes 11.52a.m. . A slight sunday chill breezes pass my face like a soft silk silhouette --- I took a deep breath --- let it out ---

[with a big scream]
I'm finally 18!!
Being 18 was only once in everyone's lifetime. So instead of going out with the entire family, I took it as an excuse to hold a family reunion. Weeks before the big B day, mum and I made calls across the states, towns, inviting rves for out BBQ. Our last reunion was like years ago, so it would be another good idea to have one right??~ [sinister laugh with ideas of lots of presents]
My gang of 5... they all couldn't join 'cuz all of them are having dinner with their family. So leaving only J. Wen and Khye.
3months ago, I was a puny short-thin guy with no sense of hair style or watsoeva. 3months later, I am still the short-extra-thin guy with no sense of hair style but with a twist of extra pinch of humour + goofyness to my dazzling charming personality [nose stuck up high] lol~
Me mum specially baked a banana chocolate cake for todays celebration, which was fantastic!! All and all, it was a smashing party, although tiring due to the intense preparation, but still it was cool!!

3 More Days To Go

Its been a tough 78days so far, PT [Physical Training] every morning 'till the agonizing Taklimat [briefing] at night. 3 more days to go, then I will be on a jet plane from Sibu Sawarak, transit to Kuching, then back to Kuala Lumpur.

Today the trainees from Semenanjung are lucky to be able go out of town. Me and my NS friends went to the "only" functional cyber cafe nearby. From 12.30pm till 2.00pm we cc'ed, they all were playing DOTA. The local players next to me were extremely noisy, with their speaker noise pumped up to the max playing Counter Strike and GunZ...

3 more days to go, just 3 more days, then I will be able to reunite with my family and friends. But these 3 days would be the toughest one yet, 'cuz the bumi Islams from Charlie company will aim the last few days in NS camp to execute their stealing spree from other trainees... I have to step up my security to protect my beloved camera...

Its 2pm, have to go now, my ears are bleeding from the constant screams from the players next to me, and also I still have 45minutes left to do some grocery shopping. I see you my family and friends on Monday, 8th of June 2009!

Leaving on a Airplane

Its 11.39 p.m. , Wednesday night, half an hour later then its Thursday and 2 hours and 30 minutes left 'till I have to leave home, and service to our "beloved" country.

4months has passed since out SPM exam, my -- times do fly fast, especially in the land of rising sun. 3hours remain 'till I have to say good bye to my beloved family, my pet dog, guinea pig and friends. My camp will be Junaco Park, Sibu, Sarawak -- a wildlife park being used as a National Service camp. I've done packing everything -- more like Over-packed. After done packing, I went down and type out this post... I know what some readers are thinking right now, "shouldn't you spend time with your family now instead of blogging?" sorry la, my family kinda asleep right now.

This morning, 10am, I went to fetch Sylvester and Y.C. to Mid Valley. C.Siang, L.Wang and Y.Z. met us at GSCinema and we've bought tickets to "Race to Witch Mountain". Then Lester joined us and we went to JUSCO, I bought another track pants then we head to the JUSCO arcade for some fun~

After that, we had our lunch at Little Penang Cafe, I had... kuay teow again [delicious], Yin.T and Men.Y joined us for lunch. During lunch, Lester explained to us about Sonnet 18, Shakespears and Ceasar.

Lester:

"Shakespear has wrote 190++ poems, and do you know 127 of them are dedicated to.... men."

It shocked everyone at the table.

After lunch we rush towards the cinema, but made a quick pitstop at the nearby loo. Y.Z. had to "zha dong geng" [do a big business]

Whaa, I tell you Sarah very cun, but too bad shes in U.S. Then we travel around Mid Valley to buy alarm clock... [don't ask why] and I kinda pissed of Lester [sorry bro, I buy teh tarik] but later I apologise and offer him a ride home. We arrived at TmnD around 5pm then we went to Sri Neelas for teh tarik with Naquash. We chat a lot, damn lot, which makes me really eager and excited to go for NS. Later we all crash at my place, took a group shot to compare 3 months later, and soon everyone leave one by one.

Dinner I had some *oink* a must have before leaving for NS (in about 2hours now). I re-check my bags everything, then I drove my sister back from tuition. Triple check again, then I went down and typed out this post. Family & friends, I love you all, I will miss you all, also my doggy Koko and guinea pig Maple. When I'm back, I'll throw a BBQ partay!~

[Sorry I had to make this post short, I had to get a few winks]
